Job Description
This Site Supervisor role focuses on ensuring project plans, schedules, and crew performance are met. The position involves directing a team, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accuracy in tasks like grading and inventory. Safety and daily site security are key responsibilities. The role also requires reporting incidents and ensuring project progress.
Requirements
- Ability to read and understand project plans and specifications
- Ability to direct a crew in a safe and efficient manner
- Accurately do take-offs and order materials
- Maintenance of all equipment, trucks, etc. on-site
- Coordination of site activities with Project Manager
- Delegation of tasks to crew on-site
- Accuracy of grade and project layout
- Verify that the project follows plans and specs
- Maintain a daily list of tasks and goals
- Safety and security of job site and crew members
- Accuracy of crew's time (Heavy Jobs)
- Accuracy of material tickets and ensuring these get turned into the office
- Report ALL incidents/injuries/complaints
- Report approvals, changes, etc. regarding the project
- Ensure that the project is secured at the end of each working day
