KPMG is looking for a Business Advisory Accountant to join their Private Enterprise team in Tauranga. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working within a New Zealand Chartered Accounting environment and hold a relevant tertiary degree in Accounting and Finance. Responsibilities include formulating solutions to client problems, preparing financial requirements, and delivering quality technical compliance work.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working within a New Zealand Chartered Accounting environment.
- Hold a relevant tertiary degree in Accounting and Finance.
- Ideally holding on to or working towards CAANZ or CPA membership, or membership of a relevant overseas professional body.
- Competent and literate with Microsoft Word, Excel, and a computerised accounting system (preferably Xero, XPA, APS or MYOB).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to deal with multiple tasks concurrently.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Professional approach to work and strong client focus.
- A team player that values input and support from the team but can also work autonomously.
