KPMG is seeking a Security Operations Lead to lead the frontline of cyber defence of one of New Zealandās most trusted professional services firms. The role involves leading a team of SOC Analysts, mentoring analysts, and continuously improving how security operations are delivered.
Requirements
- At least 5 yearsā experience as a SOC Analyst or Team Lead.
- Tertiary qualification in either Computer Science, Software Engineering or Cyber Security.
- Industry certifications such as CISM, ISC2 SSCP, or equivalent.
- Experience with using and managing SIEM, SOAR and SOC Tools.
- Ability to execute effective threat hunting to enable incident response capabilities.
- Experience writing and security incident response findings through reports.
- A fundamental understanding of Security Operations Centre including general purpose, approaches, and methodologies.
- Ability to lead a team and identify growth and development opportunities for their team.
- Ability to provide strategic advice, guidance, and input to our business leaders to support a broad range of objectives.
- Ability to build strong relationships across our firm.
- Uses data and insights to enhance performance.
