Job Description
KPMG in India is seeking a Manager - Azure Data Engineering with 5-12 years of experience in data engineering, hands-on with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure SQL, and proficiency in SQL and Python/Scala.
Requirements
- 5–12 years of data engineering experience
- Strong hands-on with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, ADLS
- Proficiency in SQL and Python/Scala
- Experience with ETL/ELT, data modeling, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and data security standards
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Design and build scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Develop and manage data lakes and data warehouses
- Ingest, transform, and integrate structured & unstructured data
- Collaborate with business, analytics, and data science teams
- Ensure performance, security, governance, and cost optimization
- Automate workflows using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and CI/CD
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data platforms
