The Electrician position is responsible for electrical troubleshooting and repair of all plant equipment and utilities, and is a key member to the plant maintenance team.
Requirements
- Electrical troubleshooting and repair of all plant equipment and utilities
- Installation and maintenance of electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot and install 480v and 3 phase power distribution systems
- Understand and troubleshoot sensor based systems
- Repair sophisticated electronic equipment
- Perform all observations and trainings timely
- Able to mechanically troubleshoot pneumatic, packaging, processing equipment and utility systems
- Able to build and read electrical/electronic schematics and drawings, fabricate control panels and start-up new and rebuilt equipment
- Able to read PLC code, troubleshoot using PLC software and program PLC controlled equipment
- Support Plant Quality Systems
- Observe all plant GMP's to insure quality food products are produced
- Must have a journeyman license or a minimum of 5 years experience in Industrial Electricity and Control System
- Ability to run conduit up to 2” and possess be able to lift up to 50lbs
- PLC knowledge (especially Allen Bradley), Relay Logic, VFD drives, Process Instrumentation
- English Language Skills – Able to speak, read, write
- Able to work a flexible work schedule
- Understand NEC as it relates to industrial installations
- Must be self-motivated and productive with minimal direction while exhibiting the ability to work in a team environment
- Must adhere to all Kraft policies as stated in the Employee Handbook and follow all internal Kraft procedures
