Job Description
Provide exceptional customer service, assist pharmacist, and maintain departmental standards as a part-time pharmacy technician. Demonstrate company core values and comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements
- Comply with local, state and federal regulations
- Maintain departmental standards
- Count, measure and prepare specified product
- Complete billing procedures
- Answer phone and triage calls
- Understand and adhere to guidelines on accepting and tendering vendor coupons
- Operate the cash register and follow all cashier handling policies
- Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist’s professional judgement
- Understand and adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations
