Job Description
Provide exceptional customer service, maintain departmental standards, and complete billing procedures as a part-time Pharmacy Technician. Demonstrate core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Requirements
- Comply with local, state, and federal regulations
- Understand and perform ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers
- Maintain departmental standards
- Count, measure, and prepare specified product
- Complete billing procedures
- Answer phone and triage calls
- Understand and adhere to guidelines on accepting and tendering vendor coupons
- Provide a stellar customer experience
- Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist’s professional judgement
- Understand and adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations
- Support company health and wellness initiatives
- Put away legend orders
- Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner
- Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
