PRODUCE/ASST DEPT LEADER

Requirements

• Promote trust and respect among associates
• Communicate company, department, and job specific information
• Develop adequate scheduling to manage customer volume
• Train and develop associates on their job performance
• Review/inspect products for quality and freshness
• Develop and implement a department business plan
• Create and execute sales promotions
• Assist management in preparing the store/department budget
• Schedule daily, weekly and monthly price changes
• Plan and organize the inventory process
• Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers
• Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures
• Report all safety risk, or issues, and illegal activity
