Requirements

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs while concentrating on accuracy
• Administer vaccines as needed
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care
• Ensure pharmacies comply with local, state, and federal laws
• Maintain a professional image
• Achieve a thorough knowledge of the trade area, customers, and competition
• Create a positive pharmacy department image
• Monitor stock replenishment, inventory levels, and policies/procedures
• Maintain proper records, inventory, and security on scheduled drugs
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products
• Ensure accuracy tools are utilized appropriately
• Establish/maintain record keeping practices
• Maintain a clean, neat work area
• Ensure all product returns are handled in a timely fashion
• Maintain all equipment in working condition
• Maintain and organize policy manuals and reference books
• Make a strong and continuous effort to broaden personal knowledge and pharmacy skills
• Ability to work cooperatively in high-paced and sometimes stressful environment
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational, and cooperative manner
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
• Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary
