CNC Machinist 2 - 3rd Shift

Krones designs, develops, manufactures, and installs both machines and complete packaging lines. We are currently looking for candidates who want to make a difference and who wish to be part of our dynamic organization in the US.

Requirements

• Retrieve CNC program and load to the machine
• Setup, load, and operate CNC machines to produce parts per prints
• Read and edit G&M code and/or utilize conversational programming
• Setup fixturing and come up with setups on machine
• Perform first piece and in-process quality inspections using the metric system
• Setup cutters in holders and adjust height and length
• Read drawings/prints to identify operations, specification, and tolerances
• Meet precise tolerances and finishing requirements
• Use various hand tools to finish parts and check
• Use measuring devices like micrometers and calipers to ensure specifications are met
• Perform operator maintenance tasks like oiling, greasing, and cleaning the machine (5S)
• Use forklift or crane to store and retrieve fixturing and other essential equipment as needed
• Operate other machines in the department as needed
