Job Description
Kruze Consulting is a boutique CPA firm looking for a Sales and Use Tax Specialist to join their growing tax team. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of sales and use tax, thrives in a detail-oriented environment, and enjoys improving processes and systems.
Requirements
- 2+ years of multi-state sales and use tax or indirect tax experience
- Strong knowledge of sales and use tax rules, taxability, exemptions, and reporting requirements
- Experience preparing and filing sales and use tax returns
- Experience with sales and use tax compliance software such as Avalara, Vertex, or comparable tools
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with accounting/ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
