Programme Officer, Kvinna till Kvinna in Rwanda

We are seeking a Programme Officer to support and strengthen women’s rights organisations in Rwanda. The role involves managing partnerships, monitoring programme activities, and facilitating capacity-building efforts in thematic areas such as women’s economic empowerment, gender equality and social inclusion. The Programme Officer will act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of partner organisations, ensuring strong communication, quality programme implementation, and alignment with Kvinna till Kvinna’s mandate, strategies, and values.

Requirements

• Relevant higher education in gender studies, international relations, development studies, human rights, social sciences, agriculture, business studies, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in development cooperation, programme management, or working with civil society organisations.
• Proven experience in women’s economic empowerment, gender equality and social inclusion, and/or related thematic programming.
• Strong knowledge of gender equality, women’s rights, and civil society in Rwanda.
• Experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning, including results-based management and reporting.
• Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda. French is an asset.
