The Quality and Safety Manager is responsible for leading, standardizing, and continuously improving the corporate Quality Management System (QMS) and safety programs across multiple operational locations, including shipboard and machine shop environments.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, QP1, and/or QP6 standards, including implementation, maintenance, and auditing in a multi-site environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of quality management experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or shipyard environment.
- Demonstrated success leading multi-site quality systems and safety programs, including audits, system implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience with SSPC/AMPP coating and inspection standards (QP1/QP6) strongly preferred.
- Proven experience managing and influencing cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and change management capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with statistical analysis tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and systems-thinking skills.
