Job Description
Kymera is a clinical-stage biotechnology company seeking a Senior Scientist or Principal Scientist for their Targeted Proteomics department. The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional project teams, lead and oversee proteomics activities, and develop targeted proteomics assays. The role requires a PhD in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or Chemical Biology with 2+ years of experience in targeted proteomics, or a BS/MS with 8+ years of relevant experience. Requirements
- PhD in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or Chemical Biology
- 2+ years of experience in targeted, mass spectrometry–based proteomics
- Domain expertise in targeted proteomics
- Development and deployment of highly multiplexed and sensitive PRM or MRM stable isotope–labeled peptide assays
- Experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting nanoLC and Orbitrap MS instrumentation
- Quantitative analysis and report generation using Skyline and related quantitative proteomics data analysis tools
