L-Acoustics is seeking a Methods Engineer, Acoustics to optimize the production processes of acoustic products and work closely with the Industrialization, Quality, and Industrial Operations departments.
Requirements
- Manage the life cycle of acoustic products
- Follow productions and evolve technical documentation
- Expertise on internal and client acoustic non-conformities
- Contribute to justifying choices and compromises related to specifications
- Ensure technical expertise and training of teams
- Perform acoustic and vibration tests and measurements
- Analyze acoustic measurement results and propose diagnostics and corrective actions
- Parameterize and control measurement instruments
- Organize the Methods workshop
- Perform technological watch
- Continuous improvement of production
- Implement, follow, and optimize a surveillance plan and a methodology to ensure optimal quality control of acoustic products
- Ensure a continuous improvement approach of processes, operating procedures, and working methods to optimize product controls
- Update specifications and technical notes for suppliers and Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Industrial Operations departments
- Follow the evolution of nomenclatures in product life cycle
- Optimization of workstations and tools
- Launch of new products in product life cycle
- Participate in the launch of new products in product life cycle and define associated standards for equipment in scope
- Assist in the design, implementation, and evolution of acoustic control tools
- Project management
- Implement and follow acoustic projects within different entities of the group
- Lead acoustic projects with suppliers
- Formulate recommendations and specifications
- Present study deliverables and write acoustic project notices
