Job Description
L.L.Bean is hiring Archery instructors for their Outdoor Discovery Programs. Instructors will develop their skills, teach the sport they love, and promote outdoor activities to new customers.
Requirements
- Safety: create a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
- Communication: conduct self at all times according to the highest ethical and moral standards
- Course Curriculum: teach in a relaxed, clear and confident manner to a variety of participants
- Health and Safety Requirement: contribute to a safe and healthy workplace
- Education Level: High School or GED
- Certification or specialized training in outdoor related activities
- First Aid/CPR certification/training
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate participants
- Ability to maintain a high level of enthusiasm, motivation and a positive attitude
- Established time management and organization skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Expertise in active gear for appropriate activity
- Retail experience a plus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
