Forklift Operator - 1st Shift 5:30am-2:00pm

We are seeking a Forklift Operator for our 1st shift team. This position involves maintaining a forklift license, performing preoperational inspections, and assisting with production tasks such as unloading trucks and placing units in correct locations. The ideal candidate has proven production experience, is able to work in a fast-paced team environment, and is capable of lifting 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Maintain current forklift license
• Can and does preoperational inspection
• Perform basic operations on Top Gun
• Read the schedule for each machine and load the in-feed conveyor properly
• Understand and perform clean up procedures
• Unload trucks and place units in correct location
• Tend to scrap baler when needed and in a timely manner
• Unload finished goods line and place in proper location
• Read tuck plans and load trucks properly
• Communicate with truck drivers in a professional manner
• Train and prepare others for forklift operator certification
• Effectively communicate with employees and others as required in the daily execution of assigned duties
• Assist other team members
