Senior IT Consultant (m/w/d) Infrastruktur & Security

Design, install, and maintain network and server infrastructure. Plan and implement network segmentations and security measures. Operate and expand cloud and virtualization platforms.

Requirements

• Completed IT training (Fachinformatiker, IT technician, or comparable qualification)
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in network and server administration, ideally 5 years
• Fundamental knowledge of network technologies (VLAN, routing, VPN) and IT security
• Experience with virtualization, storage, backup, and cloud infrastructures (Azure, Veeam, VMware)
• Practical experience with Sophos firewalls, HP/Aruba switches, and common IT security solutions
• Good knowledge of Windows Server administration, basic knowledge of Linux
• High service orientation, analytical thinking, and independent working style
• Strong communication skills in German on a native level and fluent English in both speech and writing (C1)
