K - 5 Math Specialist (Part Time)

La Scuola International School seeks a part-time math specialist to support and enhance math skills and conceptual understandings of elementary and middle school students through inquiry-based, conceptually rich mathematics curriculum.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required in mathematics, mathematics education, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of three years of elementary math teaching, preferably in an independent or IB school setting.
• Experience designing and implementing inquiry-based, constructivist, or project-based mathematics curriculum.
• Strong understanding of mathematics pedagogy, assessment practices, and differentiation strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to support diverse learners in mixed-age and mixed-ability settings.
• Well-versed in educational technology and current trends in mathematics education.
