Job Description
La-Z-Boy Incorporated seeks a 2nd Shift General Press Labor to assemble quality fabricate metal components for furniture in an incentives-based manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include fabricating metal material, operating press and machine maintenance, and inspecting work for defects.
Requirements
- Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above duties
- Basic reading, writing and math skills
- Ability to read complex print specifications
- Use and understand measuring tools (micrometer, calipers, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Basic computer skills
- Obtain PIV license
- Achieve performance standards
- Excellent attendance; 3 points or less
