Clinical Sample Specialist - Biospecimen Operations

LabConnect is looking for a Clinical Sample Specialist to manage sample management activities for samples arriving at LabConnect Cleveland facility. The role will involve performing tasks in support of receiving specimens for storage, onsite processing, or shipments to partner laboratories or other facilities. The Clinical Sample Specialist will also communicate with other departments to ensure the timely and accurate handling of samples.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• BA/BS, in laboratory science, health science, or business; or an associate’s degree with at least 2 years of clinical research, clinical lab, or other relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to work in various computer systems such as Laboratory Information Management Systems.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
