Job Description
LabCorp is seeking a Clinical Lab Professional to join our team at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology, and ASCP or AMT certification is preferred. The role involves performing routine and complex technical procedures, monitoring instrumentation, and reporting accurate and timely test results.
Requirements
- Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions
- Monitor, operate and troubleshooting instrumentation
- Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls
- Report accurate and timely test results
- Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures
- Identify and replenish testing bench supplies
- Assist with processing of specimens
- Maintain a safe work environment
