Job Description
LabCorp is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join their team at Ascension St. Vincent's Southside in Jacksonville, FL. The job involves performing routine and complex technical procedures, monitoring instrumentation, and reporting accurate test results. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science and 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience or an MLS degree, and be licensed by the Florida State Technologist License.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical
- Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience is required OR an MLS degree
- Florida State Technologist License
- ASCP or AMT certification
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems
- Proficient with computers
- High level of attention detail along with strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen
