Job Description
LabCorp is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Bacteriology to join our team in Tampa, FL. The role involves performing routine and complex technical procedures, monitoring instrumentation, and reporting accurate test results. A bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science is required, along with a Microbiology MT FL State License.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
- Microbiology MT FL State License
- 3 months or more of clinical laboratory testing experience
- ASCP or AMT certification
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems
- High level of attention to detail along with strong communication and organizational skills
