Job Description
LabCorp is seeking a Histology Project Specialist to join our team at our lab in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Histology or a related field and 3 or more years of histology experience.
Requirements
- Training, teaching, and giving lectures to students in our NAACLS Accredited Histology Education Program
- 16 hours histology bench work
- Develop and facilitate laboratory improvement projects
- Create SOPs for both cytology and histology
- Review and resolve various laboratory audit reports
- Conduct inspections in the laboratory to ensure compliance
- Assist departments with training staff on LabCorp information systems and processes
