Medical Lab Technologist

Role Overview

Join a dynamic team at Swedish Cherry Hill Hospital Stat Lab in Seattle, WA. Work 4x10s Friday-Monday 9:00PM-7:30AM. Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures.

What You Will Do

Determine specimen acceptability, perform technical procedures, monitor instrumentation, and report accurate test results. Prepare and test new reagents or controls, and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Medical Technology
• ASCP or AMT certification
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
