Specimen Processor

Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor to join their team in Spokane Valley, WA. The Specimen Processor will be responsible for performing specimen accessioning, sample sorting, and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment. Join our mission to improve health and improve lives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 6 months or more medical office or hospital high volume data entry
• 6 months or more specimen processing
• Proficient computer and typing skills
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Comfortable handling human biological specimens including blood, urine, and tissue samples
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs, work in protective equipment, and sit/stand for long periods of time
• Strong eye hand coordination in order to accurately identify specimens by touch and sight
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
