Construction Safey Specialist

LaBella is seeking a Construction Safety Specialist to join their Building Engineering division. This role involves managing safety programs, training clients, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations for construction and civil projects in the Greater Capital Region area. The Specialist will work with client management, safety staff, and labor to maintain on-site safety.

Requirements

• Review and administer safety programs, procedures and policies
• Provide Daly Toolbox Talks
• Develop weekly/monthly corrective actions written report
• Develop Risk Assessment and Job Hazard Analysis
• Interact with management, labor and safety to identify and correct unsafe actions/conditions
• Attend safety and management meetings
• Oversee all construction activities (excavation, steel erection, electrical, elevated work, LOTO, etc.)
