Job Description
Labor Finders is seeking a General Labor position. The job involves manually moving freight, using tools and equipment, setting up temporary structures, and helping specialized contractors. Physical strength and hand-eye coordination are required.
Requirements
- Manually moving freight, stock, or other materials
- Cleaning and preparing a job site
- Loading and delivering materials
- Using a variety of tools and equipment
- Setting up and taking down ladders, scaffolding, and other temporary structures
- Helping carpenters, masons, and other specialized contractors
- Controlling traffic at road construction sites
- Working outdoors in all kinds of weather or indoors without heating or air conditioning
- Completing on-the-job training programs
- Adhering to safety standards and maintaining safe storage areas
- Ensuring the machines, equipment, and components receive proper cleaning and maintenance
