CNC Machinist

We are hiring skilled CNC Machinists to join our established, ISO-Certified high-mix, low-volume shop precision machine shop. You will work with incredibly unique, large-format machines to manufacture critical parts for top-tier clients in the aerospace, defense (DoD), commercial space exploration, and custom machine building industries.

Requirements

• Set Up & Operate: Independently set up and run large-capacity 3-axis CNC mills
• End-to-End Ownership: Run work from raw plate to finished part—setup, run, troubleshoot, inspect, and document
• Programming & Editing: Read and interpret complex technical drawings and job travelers
• Workholding & Rigging: Build effective workholding strategies, including complex magnet setups
• Precision & Quality: Hold tight tolerances ranging from +/-.005 down to +/-.0002, depending on customer specs
• Maintenance: Conduct routine machine maintenance, calculate proper speeds and feeds for varied materials
