Mental Health Therapist

The Lac La Ronge Indian Band's Woodland Wellness Centre is seeking a Mental Health Therapist to work in the Prevention & Recovery Department in La Ronge, SK. The successful candidate will provide therapy services, assess clients, and develop a self-help approach to improve health and social well-being. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field, 1-2 years of experience in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
• Ability to counsel children, youth, and adults
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Required Professional Registration with a Regulatory Body
• Experience working with First Nations communities is an asset
• Ability to speak/understand Cree is an asset
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License and own a reliable vehicle
