The Financial Aid Advisor supports students in the enrollment process for school, assisting with financial aid applications, payments, and document preparation. Responsibilities include financial counseling, compliance with FAS, and communication with students and educators. This role requires flexibility and interaction with students and administrative staff.
Requirements
- Develop individual Financial Aid packages and meet with prospective students.
- Process parent loan credit checks, private lending, or cash payment plans.
- Monitor and collect verification paperwork from students.
- Review student ledgers and monitor disbursements.
- Collect and maintain financial aid documentation.
- Update NSLDS for transfer student monitoring.
- Instruct students in financial aid.
