Job Description
Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a NDE Guided Wave Technician to join our team. The NDE Advanced UT/Guided Wave technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and safety of pipelines and related infrastructure through the application of advanced ultrasonic testing (UT) techniques.
Requirements
- NDE Level II Certification in Guided Wave UT
- Experience with guided wave systems like GUL Wavemaker and WavePro Software
- Understanding of NDT methods and procedures
- Ability to interpret inspection results
- Experience in report writing
- Technical background in advanced ultrasonic methods
- Ability to travel
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Adherence to safety protocols
- Knowledge of installing permanent collars for continuous monitoring
