Bindery - Bindery Operator 2

Lakeside Book Company is seeking a Bindery Operator 2 to join their team. As a Bindery Operator 2, you will set up, adjust, and operate auxiliary binding machines, inspect equipment for safety issues, and direct a crew through all aspects of production.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of the setup, adjustment, procedures, capabilities, and limitations of equipment
• Comprehensive knowledge of machinability of different paper weights, sizes, kinds, and colors
• Ability to use standard and specialized tools and devices to adjust and maintain functional accuracy and operating conditions of bindery machines
• Skill in making difficult adjustments to powered machines using hand tools
