HR Generalist / Senior HR Generalist

Lakeside Book Company is hiring a HR Generalist/Senior HR Generalist to provide support and maintenance of Human Resource activities related to assigned employees/locations. The successful candidate will provide guidance to employees and managers, conduct investigations into complaints and policy violations, and lead proactive employee relations initiatives.

Requirements

• Provide guidance to employees and managers to ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
• Serve as the primary HR contact, addressing employee relations issues, conflicts, and disciplinary matters
• Conduct investigations into complaints and policy violations, ensuring fair, consistent resolutions
• Support managers with coaching, performance management, and employee development efforts
• Lead proactive employee relations initiatives, communication efforts, and HR-related consultation
• Assist with strategic HR programs, training coordination, benefits guidance, and employee onboarding
• Maintain accurate personnel records and HRIS data while ensuring compliance with EEO, privacy, and company standards
