Job Description
The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic Ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician under the direction of a Radiologist.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited two-year allied health program or two years of college with emphasis on the biological sciences and completion of a formal medical Sonography training program (one-year minimum) or equivalent experience
- RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical sonographer) via ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
- Current BLS - American Heart Association or BLS - American Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider)
