2026 Summer Health Care Internship

Lakewood Health System is a comprehensive rural healthcare system in central Minnesota. The Summer Health Care Intern role is designed as a hands-on learning experience that provides exposure to multiple areas within the organization. Interns engage in meaningful project work, contribute to daily operations, and support team initiatives while developing a foundational understanding of healthcare systems.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a two- or four-year health care degree program.
• Not graduating in 2026.
• Demonstrates initiative and willingness to learn.
• Communicates effectively with staff and leaders.
• Maintains professionalism in a healthcare environment.
• Can maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA guidelines to protect patient privacy.
