Field Service Engineer 1

The Field Service Engineer 1 role involves providing quality repair and preventive maintenance service of Lam etch / clean / deposition equipment at customer sites, as well as installing and relocating equipment, conducting start-up and troubleshooting activities, and implementing field modifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• No previous professional experience or equivalent work experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and willingness to learn and grow with the company
• Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals
• Ability to work in a clean room environment and wear personal protective safety equipment
• Ability to travel frequently, domestically and internationally
• Ability to perform rostered 24/7 on call standby duty for a week
