Job Description
Process Engineer at Lam Research, developing new and advanced process formulations, defining equipment hardware, evaluating test data, and coordinating design requirements. Directly contributing to The Etch Product Group, providing leadership to process technicians. Experience with semiconductor equipment, surface preparation, analytical techniques, and statistical analysis required.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics or related field
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering, research, and development
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and semiconductor manufacturing processes
- Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE) knowledge
- MATLAB, Python, or other similar scientific computing language proficiency
- Statistical analysis and problem-solving methodologies
- Background in Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD), Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (PECVD), or Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD)
- Working knowledge of statistical tools (JMP, Minitab, etc.)
- Collaborative and matrixed environment experience with diverse teams, semiconductor customers, and/or partners
