Job Description
We're hiring a Feed Sales Representative to focus on equine feed sales with a partner dealer in Southeast Pennsylvania and Northeastern Maryland. The role involves calling on animal owners, selling and consulting at farm gates, and organizing educational meetings/events to enhance Purina's brand image and sell products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field
- Previous sales experience
- Basic command of making nutritional and feeding recommendations for equine
- Understanding of equine husbandry, current management practices, and nutritional guidelines
- Competent in providing accurate feeding and management recommendations
- Strong computer skills, specifically MS Office, and ability to be trained on ration balancing software (HerdSmart), Salesforce etc.
