The Sales Specialist represents Purina Animal Nutrition products across assigned markets and territories. This role is responsible for managing and expanding dealer and co-op relationships, driving revenue growth at both the distribution level and the farm gate.
Requirements
- Leverage existing dealer and co-op relationships and identify new distribution opportunities to expand market share within the assigned territory.
- Understand market needs and communicate how the Purina product portfolio addresses those needs; ensure dealers and co-ops are stocked with appropriate inventory.
- Serve as the lead contact for key accounts, including accounts with multiple sellers, and collaborate across Channel Sales to meet revenue targets.
- Independently qualify, pursue, and close new sales opportunities with dealers and co-ops.
- Provide accurate product availability updates and manage inventory levels to support sales execution.
- Support sales growth through on-farm visits and participation in dealer and customer functions.
