Scientist, Process Development

We're hiring a Scientist in Process Development to plan and execute upstream cell culture process experiments, analyze data, and contribute to process development projects.

Requirements

• All aspects of mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique
• Culturing different cell types including primary cells, cell lines, and iPSC cells
• Maintaining small-scale bioreactors from 0.25mL to 10L scale in perfusion mode
• Cell transfection, transduction, and other genetic manipulation techniques
• Development of unit operations suitable for integration in a continuous manufacturing process
• Maintain accurate and reliable records including database management, batch records, lab notebooks, and all other pertinent documentation
• Writing and/or contributing to SOPs, batch records, protocols and reports
• Cross training and collaboration with colleagues on harvest and downstream purification technologies
• Comply with all environmental health and safety standards
