Requirements
- Set up and operate injection molding machines to produce high-quality parts efficiently
- Troubleshoot injection molding equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and maintain production flow
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to prevent downtime
- Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications and standards
- Troubleshoot material handling equipment
- Assist in the setup and calibration of manufacturing machinery
- Monitor production processes and adjust as necessary to maintain optimal performance
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality
- Conduct regular inspections and tests of products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Document and report any deviations or defects found during inspections
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment and process issues
- Work with engineers and maintenance staff to resolve technical problems
- Suggest and implement solutions to prevent recurrence of issues
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment maintenance, and process changes
- Prepare reports on equipment performance, production metrics, and quality issues
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding process status and issues
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Conduct other duties as assigned by management
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
