We are recruiting for a number of Drainage Engineers to work in 2 person teams, covering the whole of Sussex. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a new career with Lanes Group! Requirements
- Travel to residential sites via HGV in a two person team, around the region powering a high-pressure water jet for restoration.
- Clean, clear and maintain drainage systems.
- Record each job report correctly on the specialist equipment provided.
- Run diagnostics and repairs on drains.
- Delivering good customer service.
- Maintaining good H&S practise while carrying out works.
- Ensure vehicle stock is full and replenished.
- To comply with health and safety responsibilities i.e. PPE / safe site set ups protecting Lanes Group employees, the public and other road users.
- To be able to utilise VISTEC and Salesforce platforms.
- Liaising with the client regarding progress and any updates.
- Ability to work unsupervised in all weather conditions utilising correct PPE, lone worker system, etc
- Dynamically risk assess site access & working conditions depending on specific circumstances on arrival
- Provide support to your colleagues.
- To conduct thorough inspections of tools, equipment and plant before/after use.
- Report any defects or malfunctions in regards to training.
- Carry out risk assessments and have a mature approach to risk perception.
- Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibility towards them
- Any other reasonable ad-hoc duties requested by management
