Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Grab Driver to join our team, delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions across Area, Region. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career with Lanes Group, working closely with one of our most exciting clients and contributing to their AMP8 objectives.
Requirements
- Maintain great customer service and communication
- Adhere to company absence reporting procedure
- Update and complete site documentation using electronic tablet
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements and safe system of work
- Carry out site specific risk assessments and discuss any changes or amendments with team member and site supervisor
- Perform daily vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness
- Report any issues or hazards by following company procedures
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to assist with various tasks
- Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition
- Safely operate HGV vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Deliver concrete, aggregates, and other materials to various locations in a timely manner
- Load and unload materials as required, using appropriate equipment
- Plan efficient routes for deliveries and ensure punctual service
- Communicate effectively with line management and team members to coordinate deliveries efficiently
