Geotechnical Engineer - Entry Level

Langan is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join its collaborative team in Melville, NY. The individual will assist with planning and execution of field investigations, monitor foundation and earthwork construction, identify and implement field and lab work solutions, and prepare logs and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required, Master’s degree with Geotechnical specialty preferred
• Entry to 3 years of work-related experience
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• EIT Certification, or current registration for FE exam
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities
• Willingness to spend the majority of work hours in the field
• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment
• Possess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver’s license in good standing
