Job Description
Langan is seeking a Land Survey Technician to join its collaborative team in Princeton, NJ. This individual will serve a key function in providing support with a variety of land development projects, collecting field data and information related to the preparation of survey maps and CAD files.
Requirements
- Recovery of survey control and monumentation
- Boundary, topographic and utility surveys
- Construction layout
- Photo documentation of the project area
- Support the survey crew in obtaining invert and subsurface utility information
- Assist with office tasks including, but not limited to CAD drafting, data download, deed and map research, and filing
- Maintain survey equipment and initiate repairs when necessary
- Remain current on surveying practices, guidelines, and best management practices
