Job Description
Langan is seeking a Land Survey Technician to join its collaborative team in San Antonio, TX. This individual will provide support with land development projects, collecting field data and information related to survey maps and CAD files. Work in a technologically progressive environment with commercial, retail, and residential properties.
Requirements
- Recovery of survey control and monumentation
- Boundary, topographic, and utility surveys
- Construction layout, and photo documentation of the project area
- Support the survey crew in obtaining invert and subsurface utility information
- Assist with office tasks including, but not limited to CAD drafting, data download, deed and map research, and filing
- Maintain survey equipment and initiate repairs when necessary
- Remain current on surveying practices, guidelines, and best management practices
- Attend internal training and external lectures to expand knowledge and skills
- Recommend new approaches and ideas that continuously improve efficiency and services performed
