Project Environmental Scientist, Geologist, Engineer or Hydrogeologist

Langan is seeking a Project Environmental Scientist, Geologist, Engineer or Hydrogeologist to join its collaborative team in Irvine, California. This individual will serve a key function in managing environmental investigation and remediation projects, delivering technically excellent services, preparing technical proposals and reports, conducting environmental research and analyses, supervising field investigations, and managing staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering;
• LEED AP or PE certification;
• 6+ years of related work experience;
• Proficient in environmental due diligence;
• Knowledge of quantitative/technical analyses and related software.
• Hazwoper training, maintenance of annual physical and respirator fit test, and annual 8-hr. Hazwoper re-certification;
• Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements;
• Excellent public speaking, written, and verbal communication skills;
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;
• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment;
• Ability to multi-task effectively, manage multiple projects and clients, develop and manage project budgets, and effectively manage and coach staff;
• Ability to work evenings and/or weekends as projects require;
• Possess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver’s license in good standing.
