Langara College is seeking a CS Instructor to teach in the Environmental Sustainability In Canadian Logistics (Micro-credential) program, providing instruction to students on sustainable transportation, distribution, and supply chain logistics.
Requirements
- Subject-matter expertise and substantive industry experience in sustainable transportation, distribution, and supply chain logistics
- Ability to communicate well in English, orally and in writing
- Post-secondary educational teaching or training experience of at least 2 years, including experience with course planning, implementation, learning assessment and classroom management
- Knowledge of a learning management system, such as Brightspace by D2L or Canvas LMS
- Demonstrated ability to instruct students from diverse cultural and language backgrounds
- Understanding of Adult Learning Principles
- Relevant professional certification, such as CITT-Certified Logistics Professional, SCMP, CIFFA, CITP, certification in sustainable supply chain
- Degree/diploma credential in a relevant field from an accredited college or university
